Trained GC Heating and Cooling technicians will perform a 35-45 minute tune-up and professional cleaning including the following 25 procedures:
  1. Blower Motor- measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
  2. Check blower wheel for proper balance, clean blower wheel
  3. Thermostat – test for proper operation, check for proper location  (replacements available for purchase)
  4. Check, Cleaning existing air filter (as needed) (replacements available for purchase)
  5. Check for proper draining –  pan and drain line
  6. Bearings – inspect for wear
  7. Check and confirm proper return air and size
  8. Inspect condenser chassis and remove debris
  9. Wash outdoor condenser coils w/ lite chemical cleaner
  10. Refrigerant – check for proper charge and monitor operating pressures (refrigerant available for purchase)
  11. Safety Devices – inspect for proper operation
  12. Electrical Disconnect Box – inspect for proper rating and safe installation
  13. Electrical Wiring – inspect and tighten connections
  14. Test/inspect contactors for burned, pitted contacts
  15. Inspect electrical for exposed wiring
  16. Inspect and test capacitors (capacitors available for purchase)
  17. Inspect fan blade (clean if necessary)
  18. Inspect service valves for proper operation, check for locking caps (caps available for Purchase)
  19. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
  20. Compressor – monitor, measure amperage and volt draw, check wiring connections
  21. Check unit for time delay relay
  22. Check condition of isolation pads/grommets (pads and grommets available for purchase)
  23. Inspect suction line for proper fittings
  24. Inspect all fittings for signs of oil and/or leakage
  25. Check the condition of Blower Belt, if applicable (belt available for purchase)

  1. Blower Motor- measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
  2. Check blower wheel for proper balance, clean blower wheel
  3. Thermostat – test for proper operation, calibrate, and level
  4. Cleaning existing air filter (as needed) (replacements available for purchase)
  5. Bearings – inspect for wear and lubricate(if necessary)
  6. Check for proper draining – drain pan and drain line, clean( if necessary) and treat with algae treatment
  7. Access, Inspect & chemical wash indoor evaporator coil
  8. Confirm proper return air and size
  9. Inspect condenser chassis and remove debris
  10. Wash outdoor condenser coils w/ heavy duty chemical cleaner
  11. Refrigerant – check for proper charge and monitor operating pressures (refrigerant available for purchase)
  12. Safety Devices – inspect for proper operation
  13. Electrical Disconnect Box – inspect for proper rating and safe installation
  14. Electrical Wiring – inspect and tighten connections
